Dashboard¶
The dashboard is the central view in the user portal, showing your energy data at a glance.
Overview¶
After logging in, you'll see:
- Current power — Real-time consumption/feed-in in watts
- Daily consumption — Import and export for the current day in kWh
- History chart — Interactive chart with selectable time range
- Device status — Online/offline status and firmware version
Views¶
Day View (HighRes)¶
Shows 15-minute values for a selected day:
- Import (consumption) — Energy from the grid in kWh
- Export (feed-in) — Energy fed back in kWh (e.g., from solar panels)
- Power — Instantaneous power in W at each measurement point
- Delta values — Change between measurement points
The day view shows data from the last 15 days.
Week View (LowRes)¶
Shows daily values over a selectable period (1–31 days):
- Daily consumption — Total import per day
- Daily feed-in — Total export per day
- Summary — Totals for the selected period
The week view shows data from the last year.
Chart Interaction¶
- Select period — Click a date or select a range
- Zoom — Mouse wheel or pinch gesture to zoom in
- Tooltip — Hover over a data point for details
- Export — Download chart data as CSV
Multiple Devices¶
If you have multiple WattWächter devices:
- Switch between devices using the dropdown at the top left
- Each device has its own data history
- Devices can be given custom names
Data Updates¶
- Real-time: Current power updates every 15 seconds (when device is online)
- History: New 15-minute values appear after the next measurement interval
- Offline: When the device is offline, the last received data is displayed
